Sunita (36 years) and her husband Harischand Thakur are farmers (2 acres) and are parents of school going girl and boy living in Oaughatkhapri village. Doing traditional cultivation as small farmer they did not had access to agriculture extension services hence had poor farm productivity. She joined 'ekgaon one village one world network' and started adopting better farming practices using mobile phone based farm advisory. Having used advisory services for 2 years she considers herself to be a more aware and better farmer.

Rama (42 years) and her husband Chabi Lal are farmers (2 acres) and partime labourers in Silgi village. A proud mother of four girls all studying, eldest doing post graduation. She joined 'ekgaon one village one world network' and started adopting better farming practices using mobile phone based farm advisory. She applied better farming practices for Paddy and Flaxseed crop that helped her grow an healthy crop with better production; paddy production grew by 50% from 8 to 12 quintals per acre. She wants to invest additional income on her daughters education.

Laxmi (57 years) and her husband Daya Ram are farmers (5 acres) living in a joint family of 2 sons (both married and farmers) & grand children's in Khari village. She joined 'ekgaon one village one world network' and started adopting better farming practices using mobile phone based farm advisory. She is also a shareholder of a producer company (ekgaon promoted). On recommendation of the company and confident on advisory services available, she decided to grow Basmati rice for the first time. Getting good quality seed at right time, at good price and timely quality advisory support helped her grow an healthy crop with good production.

Santoshi (31 years) and her husband Lalit Chandrol are farmers (4.5 acres) having 2 young boys from Hrideynagar village. Educated till class 10th, an ambitious mother Santoshi has enrolled her children in English Medium School. She joined 'ekgaon one village one world network' and started adopting better farming practices using mobile phone based farm advisory. She changed her fertiliser application time and method to morning and evening, ensuring at that time field was not filled with water (paddy crop). Better farm-input management saved her over Rs. 20,000 from her 4.5 acre farm.

Anarkali (35 years) is a farmer (1.5 acres) and a mother of 2 young boys from Jaydevpur village. A house wife, before she started sharing farming responsibility, she remembered being called "Masterji's wife", after her husband who is a primary school teacher. She joined 'ekgaon one village one world network' and started using it's mobile phone based farm advisory, her paddy crop productivity improved by 100%. Overtime she started showing leadership skills in farmers meetings, took initiatives and made efforts to organise farmers to form there own producer company (ekgaon helped promote). She was elected President of the Board of the Producer Company, emboldened she stood for Gram Panchayat elections and also became Sarpanch of her village. Anarkali is a farmer/village leader in her own right now and aims to take the company and her village to new heights.
